PELATIHAN APLIKASI KIMIA KOMPUTASI HYPERCHEM DI SMAN 2 KASONGAN

Currently, many students have difficulty in learning chemistry. These difficulties include connecting the understanding of concepts that have been given in a more real manifestation, especially regarding concepts related to molecular modeling. An alternative solution that can be used is to utilize the Hyperchem application in learning activities. Therefore, the service in the form of socialization and training of the Hyperchem application is aimed at students of SMAN 2 Kasongan. This training aims to help improve the quality of chemistry education directly and increase the insight of participants (students) in deepening the concept of chemistry using a modern approach, namely through the application of computational chemistry. This activity takes place in five stages of activity, namely the location survey stage, collection of raw materials, pre-test, socialization of the Hyperchem computational chemistry application and ending with a post-test. Based on the results of the activity, as many as 98% of participants have understood the Hyperchem application and how to use and utilize it to process data and create molecular modeling.
