The steel material is protected using a coating to minimize the impact of corrosion. However, this method is less efficient, considering the corrosion rate in LAPAN Garut is very high because it is located on the coast of Cilauteureun. It also creates problems in terms of maintenance because it has to be done regularly and periodically repainting. In addition, not all equipment is available maintenance funds every year. The objective of this paper is to design and analyze the stress of a gantry crane with a capacity of 9 tons using Aluminum 6061 material. The material used is three units of JIS G 3192 H standard frame (I-shape) with a size of 150 x 150 x 7 mm, four units of JIS G 3466 frame (square profile) with a size of 150 x 150 x 6 mm, and four units of JIS G 3466 frame (square profile) with a size of 125 x 125 x 6 mm. Finite element analysis is performed using Autodesk Inventor Professional 2017 software. One reason for this is that wood is not available for the pepper vine. These vines are usually bought or taken from the surrounding forest but now the forest has been turned into oil palm plantations and mining holes. The vine is a patch where the roots of the pepper plant can grow well. This study uses the RSM method with 20 trials of data processing and 6 times of repetition in the middle of the process. This study aims to determine the ability of banana tree fiber-reinforced composites using a polyester matrix BQTN 157 against tensile strength at the beginning of manufacture and 6 months as well as the topography of the composite fracture. The results of Tensile testing at 0 months is in the averaged of 20,595 MPa while in the following 6 months there is a decrease in Tensile strength by an average of 0.478 MPa. It means that tensile strength will decrease when the composite age increases even though the value is small. Data with RSM shows that the F-calculated F value of the model = 14.69 obtained from the significance level of 0.01 or 1%. Measurements can be made using simple tools &nbsp;and the five senses or by using measuring devices. The results of vibration measurements are compared using standard comparisons or referring to similar machines. Measurement of vibration of knee type milling machine transmission system that has a variable speed transmission system is done by using the overall vibration value using a transducer which is placed in the radial and axial position. Measurements are taken on a variable speed system that is not indicated to have been damaged and on an engine that is indicated to have experienced damage. On machines that are not indicated to have damage, the overall axial direction is 0.363 mm / s rms and radial direction is 0.365 mm / s rms, compared to the ISO 2372 standard, the transmission system enters the area well. Measurements on the transmission system that experienced damage to the transmission shaft rotation 862 rpm axial direction has a vibration value of 4.5mm / s rms radial direction 3.47 mm / s rms, on the transmission shaft rotation 762 rpm axial direction 3.28 mm / s rms radial direction 1.68 mm / s rms, at 669 rpm axial direction 2.92mm / s rms on the transmission shaft, radial direction 1.32mm / s rms. Location-specific non-rice staples can be used as the start of a revival of food diversification in the region, which is ultimately expected to reduce national rice consumption. Policy direction by developing diversification (processing) and consumption of food based on local resources. One of the potentials that can be developed to increase local food potential in Tanah Bawah, is the development of food processing made from cassava. Food products that have been produced by local villagers in the form of mocaf flour and other types of food. During this time, the production process is done manually which requires a lot of manpower and time, so it is less productive. For this reason, it is necessary to design the construction of a pulverization machine by using rack and gear mechanics that can mash the mocaf flour smoothly and evenly in an efficient way. In this study, presents the CFD analysis of heat transfer that occurs in plastic injection mold cooling channels using polyhedral mesh. The most important part of the simulation is the select mesh types. Mesh is good, affects the calculation results of a simulation. The use of this type of mesh itself also affects the temperature field and the temperature profile that occurs in the cooling channel as well as the contour profile resolution. The use of polyhedral mesh for complex geometric shapes such as injection molds on plastic product cooling channels is able to reduce the iteration time of the simulation and can speed up the convergence of calculations, this is evidenced by the results of iteration simulation on the straight channel capable of converging at the 268th iteration of a total of about 1000 iterations and iterations of convergent conformal channel simulations on the 232nd iteration with a total of about 1000 iterations.</p> 2020-01-15T04:13:07+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement##
